Ode to Dutch Fashion / Color
Ode to Dutch Fashion features more than a hundred creations from the history of fashion in the Netherlands from 1900 to 2015. For the exhibition and accompanying catalogue I photographed in 76 historical and modern designs in typically Dutch settings. The photography was divided in theme’s according to the development of the distinct ‘Dutch’ style of the past century. Featuring lots of black-and-white, a keen eye for line and shape, explosions of colour and idiosyncratic touches. In collaboration with art director Maarten Spruyt I developed a photography concept for each style.
